About Me
Based near to Swansea, I have many years of experience in coordination within the media, arts and events sectors. I attained a first class honours design degree and work as a freelancer in digital and marketing coordination.
I have had a varied and interesting career so far, coordinating in TV, performing arts, events and live music, filmmaking, the digital sector and arts funding. I have always had a keen interest in marketing and was able to pursue it through a career change from TV (lockdown). I really enjoy working in marketing and digital, particularly for events and within the arts and entertainment sectors.
My experience and skills include: updating websites via CMS, managing social media accounts, content planning, scheduling e-marketing, SEO, coordinating events (in-person and digital), graphic design, document design, video editing, coordinating print advertising and collating analytic data reports. I also have experience in copywriting in the form of articles, newsletters, social media posts and evaluations.
Marketing related software I am proficient in, includes: SurveyMonkey, Mailchimp, Sprout, Eventbrite, Squarespace, Wix, Google Analytics, Powerpoint, Youtube, Vimeo, X, Tik Tok, Facebook, instagram and the Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator).
I enjoy building relationships in my freelance work and have a flexible availability. I am passionate about championing independent companies, venues and ventures and I work resourcefully and collaboratively.
