But LGBTQ+ writers, characters and readers have been here since the beginning &#8211; quietly, defiantly and persistently telling their stories &#8211; if you know where to look.<\/p>\n<p>The Queer Bookshelf is your guide to this essential queer history, and to its contemporary flourishing.
