Join the Swansea Illustrators Club [SIC] for an engaging, hands-on workshop on the secrets of composition, presented by TS Wolfe\u2014freelance illustrator and science communicator.<\/p>\n
Whether you’re plotting out a complex narrative scene or just trying to make a standalone character pop, the underlying grid of your image changes everything. In this session, TS Wolfe will demystify the Harmonic Armature\u2014a classical geometric grid system used to build rock-solid compositions.<\/p>\n
In this workshop, you will learn how to:<\/p>\n
Utilise the harmonic armature method to plan and balance your illustrations.<\/p>\n
Hold viewer interest and establish a clear visual hierarchy.<\/p>\n
Create visual loops using compositional vectors\u2014directing the viewer’s gaze so their eyes continuously circulate through your artwork.<\/p>\n
All skill levels are welcome! Bring your sketchbook and your favourite drawing tools.<\/p>\n
