Music has been at the heart of my creative life for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a recording artist, songwriter, voice for hire, musical theatre performer, and more recently as a theatre maker with Grand Ambition, a creative collective based at the Grand Theatre in Swansea.<\/p>\n
One of the projects I’m especially proud to be involved with is Future Blood, a youth music initiative founded by Rich Thair over 10 years ago. Through Grand Ambition’s outreach programme, I help support the Swansea branch, which meets every Wednesday evening at Down By Here. It’s a brilliant space where young people can write, create, perform and find their own voice through music.<\/p>\n
Alongside my work in music and theatre, I’ve recently returned to education, studying for a part-time Fine Art degree at Swansea College of Art. It feels like a full-circle moment, as the college is now based at my old school, Dynevor.
