About Me
Music has been at the heart of my creative life for over 30 years. I've worked as a recording artist, songwriter, voice for hire, musical theatre performer, and more recently as a theatre maker with Grand Ambition, a creative collective based at the Grand Theatre in Swansea.
One of the projects I'm especially proud to be involved with is Future Blood, a youth music initiative founded by Rich Thair over 10 years ago. Through Grand Ambition's outreach programme, I help support the Swansea branch, which meets every Wednesday evening at Down By Here. It's a brilliant space where young people can write, create, perform and find their own voice through music.
Alongside my work in music and theatre, I've recently returned to education, studying for a part-time Fine Art degree at Swansea College of Art. It feels like a full-circle moment, as the college is now based at my old school, Dynevor. Exploring visual art alongside performance and music has opened up new ways of thinking about creativity, storytelling and community.
